 IT'S SUMMERTIME NEWSFrom the Executive Director's Desk Dear Janice, As we enjoy the warmth of summer and reflect on our nation's 250th anniversary, we are reminded that strong communities are built through compassion, generosity, and neighbors caring for one another. For more than 50 years, Birthright Lake has been blessed to walk alongside mothers, babies, and families, offering hope, practical support, and the reassurance that they are never alone. As someone whose own journey began with Birthright, my heart is full as I reflect on all we have accomplished together. These aren't just numbers—they are mothers who found hope, babies who were welcomed with love, and families who felt supported during a difficult time. Every diaper, can of formula, outfit, and kind conversation is possible because of your generosity. Thank you for being part of the Birthright family and for helping us share the essence of Birthright—love—with every mother and child we serve. One mother recently shared: "I love that Birthright has the heart to help with caring for these sweet innocent children. You never know what someone is going through, and a little help goes a long way. Summer also brings unique needs for the families we serve. Along with diapers, wipes, and formula, we are providing swim diapers, sunscreen, and potty-training essentials so children can stay healthy, comfortable, and enjoy the season. We are beginning to prepare for back to school by collecting new underwear, socks, shoes - toddler sizes pajamas, long pants and fall coats in 3T-5T sizes infant/children tylenol and cough medicine baby wipes, toothbrushes and toothpaste Join us for our Bundles of Joy Brunch: Beauty with a Purpose Saturday, September 13, at Manakiki. Celebrate the beauty within every woman while supporting mothers and babies in our community. Enjoy brunch, beauty samples, inspiring stories, and fellowship.
