Wrapping Up the Year: November–December Updates

Dear First name,

We are thrilled to share that we are currently supporting 10 moms and 18 children in our M.O.M.S. community. The moms have been working hard to reach their goals and continue growing in confidence, stability, and hope, inspiring us every day.

Our Beautiful You Fall Fashion Show in September was a huge success! One mom shared her journey to self-sufficiency after the unexpected loss of her husband—a powerful testament to God’s goodness in the midst of challenge. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we raised over $10,000 and connected with new supporters and volunteers.

As we enter this season of gratitude, we are especially thankful for your continued support. Your generosity has provided food and essentials for families during a time when SNAP benefits were on pause, reminding our moms they are not walking alone.

Thank you for being part of this meaningful work and helping our families thrive!

Warm Coats, Full Tables, Grateful Hearts—Thanks to You!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Shepherd of the Valley Church in Apple Valley and the Kawa Bay Foundation for generously providing winter coats and gear for our families.

As we move into the Thanksgiving season, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for our community partners.

Emmanuel Christian Center in Lakeville blessed each mom with everything needed for Thanksgiving sides and desserts. Renewed Hope Church generously donated frozen turkeys for every family.

Kowalski's in Edina donated Christmas items for a special Christmas Boutique, allowing moms to 'shop' for décor and gifts. At our recent Education Night, volunteers organized crafts for the kids while moms enjoyed connection, support, and Christmas shopping in the room sponsored by Kowalski's.

Thank you to our generous supporters--All families have been adopted through our Adopt‑a‑Family for Christmas initiative!

If you would still like to donate to a family this Christmas you can donate the following suggested items and they will be given to families as needed:

  • Children's books. Board books, picture books or chapter books- Ages 1-15
  • Craft supplies or kits for children (all ages)
  •  Women's socks or slippers
  • Family games
  • Stocking stuffers for children, teens, and adult women.

At our annual Christmas Luncheon, each mom will receive a special basket filled with thoughtful gifts. This year, our moms shared that they are hoping for practical items—things that help keep their families safe and supported throughout the winter months. In response, we are creating Family Safety Baskets for all of our moms.
