Live Well Prince George Summer Newsletter

Welcome to our new newsletter! We are excited to improve our communication with you, our community builders and healthy living connections, by adding a regularly emailed newsletter to our ways to keep in touch with you. We appreciate and respect your time so in general we will aim to send it out once or twice a month with relevant news, events, volunteer opportunities, and Live Well PG updates.

Northern BC Multi Cultural Children's Festival Update

On behalf of Live Well PG and the Multi Cultural Heritage Societies, we would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who joined us at this year's event on June 6, 2026 at the Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park. We are so fortunate to have had a great line up of vendors and volunteers that helped us to make it a fun and successful Children's Festival! It was a great event with a showcase of wonderful children's activities, and delicious food and music for everyone. Many connections were made and we are looking forward to evolving and growing future events based on feedback from families, children, and our dedicated volunteers. If you would like to be involved next year please contact us at info@livewellpg.ca and we will let you know about upcoming planning sessions.

Our annual 50 / 50 draw fundraiser is happening now until August 30, 2026. We will be drawing 5 winners between the hours of 4:30 - 5:00 pm on August 30th at our Live Well PG Office Boardroom at 850 Brunswick Street. Funds raised will support our annual events and healthy living initiatives, including the Northern BC Children's Festival, and our Wellness North Expo.

We will be out at local community events, so if you see us out and about be sure to stop by and say hi. We also have tickets at the office so please feel free to call us and set up a time to come in. Tickets are $2 each and 2450 tickets were printed.

We have quite a few things brewing here at Live Well PG!

For starters, here are a few things to mark on your calendars.

HEALTHY LIVING INITIATIVES & ACTIVITIES

Starting again in September, we will be hosting Arthritis & Chronic Pain Workshops

on the last Wednesday of the month. September 23 from 1 - 2 will be the first one.

We are working on building out our healthy living programs and we would love to get your feedback! What workshop or information session would support your health and wellbeing?
