In this SPECIAL EDITION of our monthly news, we are so excited to share that Maddie and Izzle have been successfully paired and are enjoying a sweet and blossoming bond that is a joy to watch unfold!

Izzle had been clear about wanting this for a long time. Like with many good love stories, there were obstacles to overcome. To see them now, makes all the work and preparation worth while. As a member of River's Club, your support makes this kind of heartwarming success possible. YOU have made two special monkeys very happy this season. And, that is something to celebrate!

Have you ever seen Izzle look so at peace?

Izzle had been wanting this for so long. It was such a surprise that he got a little shy when they first got together! It took patience and trust, but soon, Maddie was able to groom him and their bond began to grow. You can read the full story HERE!

Monkey Palooza 2026 was a day to remember this summer at the sanctuary. We had games, workshops, nature trail walks, and perfect weather for visiting with the monkeys. Thanks to all who came out to make it such a great day!
