Oh, We’re So Back for 2026!
|
Family Day brings fun, music and some good old community building!
|
We were thrilled to be back in the community for our first community event of 2026 – Family Day! And we did it in style and with a lot of joyful noise, bringing the percussion section to families in both Kitchener and Oakville. We were thrilled to be at the Kitchener Market and the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre in Oakville. To everyone who came out: we hope you enjoyed trying out the snare drum, glockenspiel or (my personal favourite) the cabasa!

Spring Events Will Be Here Soon!
|
One of our favourite parts of warmer weather is getting outside for events throughout the community. All we can do right now though, while the weather keeps diving below 0°, is to dream of spring!
If you are planning a community event this spring or summer and want an extra touch of musical fun, reach out now and let’s see what we can do. We’ve brought buckets, percussion instruments and our Sound Garden to events before and would be happy to figure out what would be the best fit for your event.
Drop us a note at info@bandology.ca and check out past events we’ve been to at bandology.ca/community-events.

We're Getting Close to Band Camp's Tenth Summer
|
Is it too early to start counting down to Band Camp? Maybe once we hit the 100 day mark we can start talking about it (which will be in 28 days, not that anyone is checking or anything!). This year, we're running four sessions of Band Camp!
- July 6-10: Band Camp Kitchener-Waterloo at Rockway Mennonite Collegiate
- July 20-24: Band Camp Halton at King's Christian Collegiate
- July 27-31: Band Camp Guelph at the University of Guelph
- August 10-14: Band Camp Halton at King's Christian Collegiate
It may be early but we are hard at work to ensure that this summer of camp is the best one yet! We would love to see you at Band Camp (grades 7-12) or Band Camp Junior (grades 1-6) this year. Learn more and register now at bandology.ca/band-camps.
Don’t forget that we have subsidies available to ensure every child can attend camp! For families facing financial challenges, please reach out to camp@bandology.ca.
