Recent government changes in South Asia have directly impacted many Christians living in this country. For security purposes, we are withholding the name of the country as well as the people involved, but you should know that our brothers and sisters are under direct threat from persecution in the area that we visit and support. However, God is bigger, and we do have ways for you to get involved.
One of the schools that Lean In Ministries supports in this area is now being threatened with closure by government agencies through fines, massive fees, and unreasonable demands about the structure of the school buildings. Christian schools are being singled out for these measures. The school we support, run by our Ministry Partner, SP (initials used for security purposes), is the main base of operation for all Christian ministry in the area. If it is closed down, all ministry will end. On top of that many families will no longer have access to a good education and support at home.
Here is where you come in. We are trying to raise over $17,000 in fees and fines so that we can completely wipe out this obligation from the school. This will take a major weight off of the shoulders of our Ministry Partner, SP, who has no hope of raising this kind of money. He has been told this amount needs to be paid by the end of September or the school will shut down, so time is of the essence. We believe God has already provided for this and are asking you to participate in what God is doing here.

1). Please pray for protection for SP, his wife, and kids, along with provisions for SP, the teachers, and the school as they navigate this situation.
2). Please give. Any amount helps. Funds support both LIM's missional purpose of evangelism and discipleship as we support SP's ministry through providing these much needed funds that will in turn allow his ministry to continue.
