![]() Dear First name, As summer approaches, we are grateful for the ways God continues to work in the lives of the single moms we serve. We celebrate their growing faith, perseverance, and the steps they are taking toward a stronger future for themselves and their children. Thank you to our mentors, volunteers, donors, and supporters who continue to make this ministry possible. Your generosity provides hope, encouragement, practical support, and opportunities for growth for single moms throughout Dakota and Scott Counties. Together, we are helping families move from crisis to stability and from surviving to thriving. With gratitude, Dr. Elisabeth Wilson "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2 ![]() ![]() Building Stronger Futures Through MentoringThis month, our single moms and mentors are participating in a special assessment process together. The purpose of this assessment is not simply to measure progress, but to create meaningful conversations about where each mom has been, where she is today, and where she hopes to go in the future. Together, moms and mentors are reviewing accomplishments, identifying areas for continued growth, setting future goals, and strengthening the relationships that are such an important part of our program. These conversations help create deeper connections while encouraging each mom to continue moving forward with confidence and purpose. Graduation is Coming, and You're Invited!![]() Join us on June 25 from 7:00–8:00 p.m. at Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville for Celebrate Her Story, an evening honoring the strength, resilience, and the accomplishments of the incredible single moms in the MOMS Program. We are especially excited to celebrate Ashley M. as she reaches the milestone of graduating from the MOMS Program! Her journey reflects the perseverance and growth we see in so many of the women we serve. This special evening is also our opportunity to thank the generous donors, volunteers, mentors, and community partners who make these stories possible. Together, we will celebrate Ashley, honor all of our program moms, and reflect on the lives being changed through the support of a caring community. Summer can be a difficult season for many of our moms. When school is out, kids are home more, grocery bills go up, and there are fewer resources available to help make ends meet. With the cost of food, gas, and everyday necessities continuing to rise, many single moms are feeling the strain. Our food shelf is seeing increased need, and we would appreciate donations of:
Gift cards and gas cards are also a tremendous blessing. A gas card can help a mom get to work, school, or a doctor's appointment. Grocery gift cards allow moms to purchase fresh foods and other items we may not have available on our shelves. If you would like to help, contact Elisabeth at office@momsprogram.org to schedule a pickup or drop-off. Thank you for caring for the practical needs of our single moms and their children. Your generosity reminds families that they are seen, valued, and not walking this journey alone. M.O.M.S. Program |
