Warmly, Your IEA Pacific Northwest Board of Directors A brief recap:What a joy it was to be in that virtual room together at our Find Your Enneagram People in the PNW event this week! Nearly 40 of you showed up over your lunch hour to share virtual space and get to know each other. We started with a wonderful grounding from Board Member Meghann McNiff, and our Board Chair, Elke Kurtz, shared an lovely sentiment from Russ Hudson about the importance of the Work. We loved hearing how well you connected in the small breakout groups where we invited you to share about non-Enneagram hobbies and what we're looking for in community. The regional conversations to explore future in-person gatherings felt like seeds being planted in very healthy soil. "Although there is no monastery, it requires community. We need each other. Our development, our showing up is not just for us. It counts for everyone. We feed each other our presence and development or we feed each other our distraction and distortion. Each moment will present us with that possible choice. We need that. We need community. We need that dedication. The thing is it is not a weird club. It is not an exclusive club. It does not belong to any particular tradition. It does not belong to anyone. All are welcome that want to participate. There are no funny beards or shaved heads or robes, or anything. We are really feeling the inspiration as we cultivate the foundation for a strong community — one that shows up and feeds each other presence more often than not! You're now welcome to join as a member and be part of this community from the very beginning! Membership to our affiliate is $40/year or $20/year when you add it to your IEA Global membership. While we're still finalizing the details of membership benefits, expect reduced rates on programming and special access to a member directory. Your early support means so much to us as we continue to shape this community. We loved seeing so many of you at lunchtime — and we know evenings or weekends work better for some. We'll be experimenting with different times to make it easier for everyone to participate. We're already planning our next event, with more room to not just connect, but start diving into topics of interest. We're excited to create space for facilitated discussion about what matters to you. Stay tuned. We've also taken note that there are lots of practitioners within this community, and we look forward to inviting folks to share their work down the line. One of the highlights of our gathering was watching regional groups begin to imagine in-person connection. We're thrilled to introduce our three Regional Hub Coordinators.
