The Roots Kickoff: Bechet, Italy, & New Orleans

A ColaJazz + Roots Fest Eve Celebration

Join us at Villa Tronco for an "Opening Night Eve" party! We’re celebrating the roots of jazz exactly where they belong: in the heart of South Carolina’s oldest Italian kitchen.

The Occasion: It’s the eve of our ColaJazz + Roots Fest debut!

The Legend: We’re celebrating the birthday of New Orleans icon Sidney Bechet.

The Vibe: Straight-ahead instrumental jazz with a heavy New Orleans swing.

The Flavor: A tribute to the Italian-American pioneers who helped shape the sound of the Crescent City.

Come for the pasta, stay for the party. Let's kick off Festival Weekend in style!
