Summer 2026 Newsletter

Dear Music Families and Staff,

We hope you are enjoying a fun and relaxing summer!

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, there is already plenty happening with the Nutley Music Boosters. This newsletter includes a recap of our Summer Music Program, details about the Music Parents Meet and Greet, Football Mania student fundraiser, our Nutley Music Polo Collection, our Parent Survey, BAND App group and membership for the new school year.

We encourage all current families to stay connected, share their feedback, participate in upcoming fundraisers, and renew their membership. Your continued involvement helps us support Nutley’s talented music students through programs, activities, scholarships, equipment, and other opportunities throughout the district.

Summer Music Program Recap

Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the 2026 Nutley Summer Music Program! Students spent the summer building their skills, exploring new musical experiences, and preparing for the upcoming school year.

A big thank-you goes to our talented instructors for sharing their time, knowledge, and enthusiasm with our students. We also thank every family who participated and helped make this year’s program a success.

Music Parents "Meet and Greet"

Join us on Thursday, August 20, and drop in anytime between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Nutley Historical Society and Museum, 65 Church Street. Enjoy a relaxed, kid-free evening with fellow music parents, learn what to expect this year, and find out how to get involved.

Raffles, refreshments, and light snacks will be provided!

Nutley Music Polo Collection

Have a Nutley Music polo your family no longer needs? Donate clean, gently used polos by placing them in the collection bin at 7 Burnett Place.

2026-27 Membership Information

Membership is $25 per family and supports Nutley’s music students and programs. Membership qualifies students for 100% Student Fundraising Credit, supplemental activities, and senior scholarship eligibility. It also allows parents and guardians to be considered for chaperone opportunities.

If you have a student in Marching Band, you DO NOT need to pay your membership, as this was covered in the overall marching band fees.
