Full Speed Ahead at Calling Up Justice!

Calling Up Justice is moving with momentum this week. Claudia and Ry met with Pam from Get Shameless for an income-generation consult, and one immediate recommendation turned into action the very same day. While Danielle was already consulting on the website, we added a new GIVE button to help supporters invest in our work. We also had a wonderful time supporting D&D Night with the San Francisco Disability Cultural Center, while Jesenia has been out in the world building connections at events with The Arc and the Berkeley Disability Cultural Center. We’re also seeing growing interest in our access trainings.

Creative energy is flowing too: Maiamama and Claudia have launched a fresh new project called ShortyTalk, and Claudia attended Intersections by Abilities Dance Boston, where dancers created work inspired by her life. GJ has been holding space with One Free Community and is sharing their newsletter links below!

Looking ahead, we hope you’ll join us for exciting upcoming opportunities: the Access Intelligence Symposium, the Jaywalk Gathering (where we’ll lead a workshop on digital placemaking), Mouthwater Dance Watchparty in the digital encampment and most importantly, our paid Digital Placemaking Internship for ages 21–30. There is so much growing here—come be part of it.
