Envisioning the Future of Pine Hills

Join the Pine Hills Community Council for our August 4 General Meeting, featuring a special presentation by Tamara Johnson, Executive Director of the Pine Hills Neighborhood Improvement District, along with a Back-to-School Backpack and Resource Giveaway in partnership with New Life Ministries World Outreach Center.

During the meeting, Ms. Johnson will present Envisioning the Future of Pine Hills, including renderings and community planning concepts. Residents will have an opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and share feedback with the Orange County team.

Families will also be able to receive backpacks and school supplies while available. Community members, businesses, and partners are encouraged to support the giveaway by donating backpacks, school supplies, or financial contributions.

Please note: The renderings are intended solely to support community discussion and feedback. They do not represent final decisions, approved contracts, or finalized proposals. Backpack and school-supply availability may be limited and will be provided while supplies last.

Pine Hills Neighborhood Improvement District Advisory Council Meeting

The NID was created in December of 2011 as a recommendation from the Pine Hills Business Redevelopment Task Force. This NID focuses on public safety and neighborhood revitalization along the major business corridor within Pine Hills.

Orlo Vista United Safe Neighborhood and Orlo Vista Chamber of Commerce Joint Meeting

The OVCOC/OVUSN collaborate to strengthen the community by connecting residents with resources, fostering civic engagement, promoting beautification and public safety, and creating opportunities for education, collaboration, and neighborhood pride. Through monthly meetings, partnerships, and volunteer initiatives, they empower residents to shape a cleaner, safer, and more connected Orlo Vista.
