In this edition, we're excited to announce a new partnership with Black Innovation Alliance's Source Code platform, recap an unforgettable Juneteenth Mixer, celebrate community members making moves across the city, and share opportunities for growth, connection, inspiration, and renewal across the MYB community.

A New ReSOURCE for MYB Founders

Mom Your Business is excited to announce that we are now an official Source Code by Black Innovation Alliance provider partner.

As part of our commitment to helping entrepreneurs build strong, sustainable businesses, this partnership will give MYB founders access to a personalized growth tool designed to help them better understand where they are in their business journey and what steps to take next. Through a brief assessment, founders are placed into one of five growth stages and receive a customized Blueprint with recommendations, resources, and guidance tailored to their current needs.

Founders in our community will have access to:

Ongoing insights and resources delivered throughout the week
Tools and support aligned with their stage of growth

Juneteenth Mixer Recap

The MYB Juneteenth Mixer brought together entrepreneurs, community leaders, creatives, and supporters for an evening filled with connection, culture, and celebration. Guests enjoyed great music, shopping with local vendors, meaningful networking, and a lively pop-up pitch competition.

Congratulations to Imani Sanders of Sing With Me, who took home the $1,000 Pitch Competition Prize! A special thank you to Jos and Love Now Media, who surprised every pitch participant with a gift pack that included a t-shirt, cup, and pen.

The evening also featured a special recognition ceremony for members and executives of Fractional Cohort 3, who proudly received their completion certificates. From the music and fellowship to the entrepreneurial energy in the room, the MYB Juneteenth Mixer was a powerful celebration of love, legacy, liberation, and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event a phenomenal success!

Two MYB Founders Are Bringing Philly's Best to the World Stage

Carla Clarkson of The Link Studios and Stacey Pearl of Stacey Pearl Cosmetics who were both honored at MYB’s 2024 Legends Business Gala are now channeling everything they’ve built into something the whole city can experience.

This summer, they’re launching ONLY IN PHILLY — a boutique, multi-level FIFA World Cup watch party and cultural experience at 213 Arch Street in Old City. Think private viewing suites, local art installations, curated food and drinks and the kind of Philly energy you can’t find anywhere else.

“Sports create connection across cultures, languages and backgrounds,” says Carla. “We wanted to create a place where visitors and residents alike could enjoy the matches while also experiencing the creativity, culture and community that make Philadelphia special.”

Stacey adds: “I’ve seen how Philadelphia is perceived internationally and I challenge that. Carla and I are building an experience that reflects the city we actually know: global, creative, cultural and deeply rooted in community.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

We’ll gather on Zoom every Thursday at 6:30 pm beginning June 25th for honest conversation, practical tools, and real-time support to help you create a life that actually feels livable. One where rest, work and purpose can exist in the same week.

This isn’t a lecture or a Bible study with homework. It’s a guided space for working women and entrepreneurs to catch their breath, talk about what’s really going on, what's working and try some simple changes that bring more peace and clarity to your days.

After six weeks online, we’ll close with an in-person day of connection and rest at a surprise location designed to help you unplug, reset and connect with other women who get it.
