I wanted to follow up on my previous newsletter, where I mentioned our efforts to represent YOU, as conversations continue to revolve around the Future Development of the Pine Hills Community. I intend to keep you informed about the development, and Orange County has provided the PHCC with an active link to the interactive website that shares the Pine Hills Visioning effort: Pine Hills’ Future Vision | Engage Orange County. You can leave comments, take a survey, and review the renders all on this site. If you have any questions, concerns, or other comments that you’d like us to bring to the attention of the County/PHNID Team on your behalf, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at Joneil@pinehills.info. Lastly, I want to share a notice about our current activities during the Pine Hills Neighborhood Improvement District (PHNID) Small Business Week, where these proposed concepts were presented. I am also sharing again a solicitation for those interested in potentially filling the vacant seats (2) that represent the Pine Hills Community Council on the PHNID Advisory Council. The potential to serve in this capacity ensures that the PHCC and the community have a continued voice in the development of the PHNID Business Corridor and Orange County. As conversations continue surrounding the growth and future of our community, the Pine Hills Community Council, Inc. remains deeply committed to ensuring the voices of our neighbors are heard, valued, and included throughout the process. PHCC has requested copies of the proposed renderings and plans from the PHNID Team so they can be shared with the community to gather additional input and feedback once received. Together, we can continue building a stronger, more connected, and more prosperous Pine Hills for generations to come. PHCC Has Two Vacant PHNID Advisory Council Seats Are You Interesting in serving? The Pine Hills Community Council, Inc. (PHCC) is currently seeking interested residents, property owners, and business stakeholders within the Pine Hills community who would like to be considered for recommendation to serve on the Pine Hills Local Government Neighborhood Improvement District (NID) Advisory Council. At this time, PHCC has two vacant recommendation positions available. The Pine Hills NID Advisory Council plays an important role in advising Orange County Government on community improvement priorities, neighborhood revitalization efforts, planning initiatives, and projects impacting the Pine Hills area. Members serve three-year terms and help guide recommendations related to infrastructure, beautification, safety, economic development, and overall community enhancement. Eligible applicants must be residents or property owners within the boundaries of the Pine Hills Neighborhood Improvement District. Individuals interested in being considered for the Advisory Council should submit a brief statement of interest and background information to the Pine Hills Community Council, Inc.
