Wisconsin Christian Youth Camp Newsletter

Our primary mission is bringing kids into a closer relationship with their Creator, the God of the Old and New Testaments -
and, Jesus Christ, the Savior of all humankind.

Youth Rally - "On Purpose!"

This year's WCYC Youth Rally will be held Friday, April 24 @7:00 PM through Sunday, April 26 @11:30AM.

Save the date and

invite your friends!

This year's theme is "On Purpose!"

It is open to all youth from 7th through 12th grade and

costs $25 per teen.

To register, email Kayde Johnson at kayde.johnson@wcyc.org with each teen's name, age, gender, and any food allergies.

The weekend provides a great opportunity for teens who just can't wait for the summer sessions to begin, or for any young person looking to connect with some good peers during a fun, peaceful, Christ-centered weekend getaway.

We'll be sleeping in the cabins, gathering around the campfire (weather permitting), and running around outside. Tasty and healthy food will be provided throughout the weekend.

It's going to be a great time!

2026 Southside Church of Christ Auction

Fundraiser Benefitting WCYC
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the 2026 auction and dinner! There were auction items from at least two states, participants from as far away as Nebraska, and a great taco bar dinner sponsored by NSR Business Solutions. The auction profits, totaling $8,791, will be used at the discretion of the WCYC Board of Directors. With preference given to completing the Birds' Nest Restoration Project, Restoration of the Children's Play Cabins, and Camper Scholarships. Thank you again to all who participated.
We hope to see you all again on the 20th of February 2027!

Let's Be "Doers"!

What does it mean to be a Christian? James, the brother of Jesus, gives us lessons and tools on how to follow after God by being obedient to do what he says, even if it seems hard to us. As Christians, the things we do show what we believe about God and ourselves. If we truly believe in Jesus, we will want to follow his commands. We will be "doers" of God's Word, and not just "hearers" (James 1:22)!
