Dear PHCC Community,

We’re sharing upcoming meetings and events across Pine Hills and surrounding communities to keep residents informed, connected, and engaged.

PHCC is partnering with Sunrise Movement Orlando and Las Semillas to host a Public Transportation Town Hall, where residents can hear from community advocates, share their experiences, and learn about proposed transit solutions, including the STAR Plan.

We also invite you to join us for our PHCC General Meeting on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, featuring an Orange County District 7 Commissioner Candidate Forum. This is an opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking to represent our community.

This April 7, 2026, we continue Setting the PACE for a Better Pine Hills as the Pine Hills Community Council hosts an Orange County District 7 Commissioner Candidate Forum during our April 7, 2026 General Meeting.

Join us Tuesday, April 7th from 6:00–7:45 PM at the Orange County Multicultural Center (7149 W. Colonial Dr.) as we welcome 11 confirmed candidates seeking to represent District 7 on the Orange County Board of County Commissioners.

The meeting will begin with the Pine Hills Community Council conducting its official organizational business, after which we will transition into the Candidate Forum.

The forum will include:

• 1-minute opening statement from each confirmed candidate
• Moderated community questions
• 1-minute closing statement from each confirmed candidate

This format ensures each candidate has the opportunity to introduce themselves while allowing time for meaningful engagement on the issues that matter most to our community.

Please note: Only candidates who have confirmed their participation at this time will be featured in this forum.

Residents are encouraged to attend, bring questions, and engage in the democratic process as we continue strengthening civic participation in Pine Hills.

Join local organizations for a town hall to discuss and get feedback on public transit in Orange County. Learn about the STAR Plan, a grassroots plan to fund fast trains & buses to Orange County! District 7 encompasses the following areas: College Park, Eatonville, Rosemont, Mercy Drive, Maitland, Pine Hills, Orlo Vista, and Fairview Shores.

The Pine Hills Community Council, Inc., is currently issuing 2026 Membership and Sponsorship Renewal Notices as part of The PACE Administration’s commitment to Setting the PACE for a Better Pine Hills. If you have not yet received a renewal email directly from Info@PineHills.info, this message serves as an official reminder and overview.

Members and partners may renew their membership dues, sponsorship level, or both by selecting the options below. Sponsorship opportunities for 2026 are available at the Bronze ($250), Silver ($500), and Gold ($1,000) levels and directly support PHCC’s advocacy, civic engagement, and neighborhood investment efforts rooted in Participation, Accessibility, Collaboration, and Excellence.

In addition to renewing your own commitment, we encourage you to invite colleagues, businesses, and neighbors to join or sponsor the Council. Thank you to both our new and returning members for your continued support of the Pine Hills Community Council. Under the PACE Administration, PHCC currently has 115 paid members.

Our current membership includes 31 adult members, 25 senior members, 40 student members, and 19 organization-level members representing institutions and partners throughout our community. We are also proud to share that all student memberships have been generously sponsored by members and community supporters, ensuring that young people can stay connected to civic engagement and leadership opportunities in Pine Hills.

Your commitment strengthens our ability to serve the community and advance initiatives that help Preserve a Clean, Safe & Prosperous Community. Together, we continue Setting the PACE for a Better Pine Hills, knowing that Together, We Can Make a Difference.
