![]() ![]() ![]() April, 2026 Dear Friend,
I am very excited for the real start of spring which brings great building weather and the opportunity for many more builders to help us move our homes forward. Our Acton project is in the second stage of building with structural work complete and volunteers now working on framing and strapping. We completed five critical home repair projects in the last two months in Fitchburg, Shirley, Gardner, and Littleton and have three more underway. In addition, our permitting work for new homes in Littleton continues to move forward and we are planning for new homes in Lancaster as well. Next week starts our Women Build month where groups of women come out to help build stronger, safer communities. There are just a few team build days still available so please let us know if you and a group of friends would like to join in celebrating the power of women. Our annual Spring Breakfast is being held at The First Parish of Bolton from 7:30-8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5. I guarantee you will be inspired by our keynote speaker from Team Rubicon, our homeowners whose lives have been changed through homeownership, the update on the state of housing from Senator Eldridge, as well as the work of the dedicated volunteers who will be honored. A big thank you to our sponsors for the event: The Law Office of David Rocheford, Reyne Macadaeg, RE Architect, Dream Vacations, Rockland Trust and All One Credit Union. The month will close with a celebratory Women Build Afternoon Tea and Networking event. You can learn more and sign up below. In wonderful news, a long-term supporter will match every dollar raised up to $25,000 during our spring and early summer events, Women Build peer-to-peer fundraiser, and appeals. Our goal is to raise a total of $50,000 in honor of Habitat for Humanity International's 50th anniversary. There are still many more families in need of housing and critical home repairs in our local communities so please help us to meet those needs by donating generously online, at an event, or through the mail. Thank you!
