❓ Did you Know?

On October 31, 2025, Governor Tony Evers signed into law 2025 Wisconsin Act 42 (Assembly Bill 2) to create a statewide ban on the use of cellphones in classrooms.

By July 1, 2026, the new law requires public school boards to adopt policies that prohibit students from using wireless communication devices, including cellphones, during instructional time. The term, “wireless communication device” includes, but not limited to: a cellphone, a tablet computer, a laptop computer, and gaming devices.

This is important as we have had students with AI glasses and technology continues to evolve.

Stay tuned for a new policy beginning next school year.

‼️Important Reminders:

❗ The holiday season can sometimes bring hardships and added stress. Please remember that the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to all employees as a confidential and free resource.

The EAP provides initial support for a variety of concerns, including:

  • Counseling services

  • Financial guidance

  • Coaching and wellness support

  • Assistance with many other life matters

Please be aware that there are two EAP forms/providers in use due to a change:

  • The current form/provider is valid until December 31st.

  • The new form/provider will take effect starting January 1st.

❗ Year round staff, please schedule your paid time off requests for the upcoming holiday season soon. Taking time off is crucial for rest and recharging, and using your PTO is highly encouraged.
