Hello! September brought us together in a whole new way with our very first regional in-person gatherings. We truly loved connecting with those of you who were able to join, and it got us excited for more opportunities to get to know each other. Our first official teaching event is coming up in October. Read on for more about that as well as a call for volunteers and a peek at what we're building for members. In this newsletter, you'll find: ✨ Recap from September regional events ✨ Virtual Event with Dina ElBadry, October 20th ✨ Call for volunteers ✨ Membership update Thanks for being here! Warmly, Your IEA Pacific Northwest Board of Directors ![]() In September, we hosted three gatherings across three cities, and altogether we had nearly 50 people come out to our Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco events! We heard from so many of you (both the ones who made it and the ones who couldn't) that you're already looking forward to the next round. We will keep you updated on when and where we'll be gathering next! October 20th, 11:00am PDT - 1:00pm PDT![]() We're excited to welcome Dina ElBadry as our first expert teacher! Dina ElBadry is the founder and lead Enneagram teacher at The Enneagram Academy in Egypt. She's an IEA-accredited Enneagram professional and a former official teacher at Chestnut Paes Enneagram Academy, where she taught foundational and advanced courses and served as Head Mentor for the Personal Mastery Program. Dina's teaching draws deeply from the Enneagram's psychological and spiritual dimensions, including the Levels of Awareness model rooted in Gurdjieffian and Sufi inner work traditions. Join us on Zoom for teaching, practice, and Q&A, or catch the replay if you can't make it live. Free for members, $20 for non-members. We're looking for support to help us keep growing. Social Media Volunteer — Do you enjoy simple graphic design? We're looking for someone to create graphics for our events and potentially help run an Instagram account. This isn't about posting every day or scaling to thousands of followers, just a way to share information in a visually pleasing way and reach new people in our region. You'd work closely with our Communications Committee. In-Person Events Support — We are learning so much from our first regional gatherings, including what it takes to organize and host in a way that's accessible and sustainable. And we heard you, you're hungry for more of these! If you'd like to help plan or host a future gathering in your city, we'd love to connect you with our Programming Committee. Does this sound like you? Email hello@ieapnw.org (or reply to this message) with your specific volunteer interest. Our uptick in membership tells us we're doing something right — there are now dozens of us! Members already enjoy free or reduced rates on programming, including free attendance to our upcoming virtual event with Dina ElBadry. Membership is $40/year, or $20/year if you're already an IEA Global member. We're working on more perks, including a member directory and a way for members to share their own events with the whole community. We'll keep you posted when these go live. Not a member yet? What are you waiting for?! (Seriously, reply and let us know what you'd like to see.) If you know anyone who should know about us, forward this message! If this was forwarded to you, be sure to sign up for updates on our website.
