Community Day and Homecoming On Saturday, June 6, WCYC was exploding with energy! In attendance were 34 guests, 16 who were new to camp. There were also 22 HipCampers and 24 volunteers making a total of 80 people! Thirty five people participated in the Dedication of Birds' Nest that was lead by Wayne Hawley. Singing was lead by Cliff Cunningham and Joe Burns cut the ribbon.  Service Opportunities for 2026All Sessions are seeking Volunteers. We're looking for Counselors - those who love to work with kids face-to-face. The kids love the Kitchen Staff the most! What is Christmas really all about? Is there a spiritual reason for the Christmas tree? For candy canes? What about bells? And then there are those Christmas cookies! These are just a few of our many questions that your kids don't want to miss out on. Junior Camp Special Request: Our major goal is to send every camper home with God's Word in their hands. Click on "God's Word in their hands" to donate a Bible. June Work Week Accomplishments - Kitchen Laundry Room: replaced some old drywall, painted the whole room, replaced the washer and dryer. NOTE: The Kitchen Laundry is for Kitchen Use ONLY. NO exceptions.- New dishwasher installed! - New platform built for Kids' Cabins - Shower/Tub plumbing repaired in the Nurse Cabin - Celebrated it being 20 degrees cooler than last year and very few mosquitoes!
