I am undone with gratitude and amazement at the effort each of you has made. Whether you made 5 calls a day or 50, every single dial had an impact—and we saw that yesterday!
Within the first hour, after some back-and-forth between the Bloc-Liberal alliance and the Conservatives, the committee voted to put C-9 on hold and prioritize OTHER crime bills that Canadians are asking for. This is a huge win, and your calls made a determining difference.

SO, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR C-9?
The bill is delayed, but not dead yet.
It will likely come back for discussion at the Justice Committee around February 9th. This means that while we can celebrate this victory and take a breath, we can't completely let up. Over the next few days, our team will be re-grouping, consulting with prayerful strategists, and coming back to you with more opportunities to be a voice.
Q: WHAT NOW, CAN I KEEP CALLING?
Some have already asked if they can (or should) keep calling? What an incredible question!
The quick answer is no number of calls is too many....if you can keep going, definitely do so.
