Dear Parent to Parent USA Community,

We hope your summer is off to a wonderful start! While the sunny days bring a welcome shift in the seasons, we know that summer transitions can also feel a bit overwhelming for families navigating disabilities and special healthcare needs. Please remember: you are never walking this path alone, and our state alliances are always here to connect you with peer support when you need it most.

Behind the scenes, our team has been incredibly busy building new resources to keep our community strong, informed, and connected. Looking back at the first half of the year, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible partners who make our programming possible. We recently hosted two fantastic Coffee Talks—delving into vital digital safety trends with Bark Technologies (and the recording is available here if you missed it!) and navigating lifelong healthcare milestones with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)—that sparked wonderful dialogue across our network.

We have a packed, exciting lineup of updates for you in this edition. From officially launching our brand-new P2P USA merchandise shop to opening registration and speaker applications for our upcoming national Support Parent Summit, there are so many ways to get involved this month. We’re also thrilled to celebrate recent milestones from our state alliances, share newly released toolkits, and welcome fresh faces to our leadership teams.

We invite you to take a comfortable moment to dive into the updates below, and join us in celebrating the incredible momentum of our network. We wish you all a safe, gentle, and restful summer season!

Warmly,

Marsha Quinn and Theresa Maier

Team P2P USA
