• Brad Howell – Mr. Roger's Award, for embodying the heart of SERVE's values
• Luna Girls (Katy and Nely) – Sweat Equity Award, for exceptional volunteer dedication
• NHS Football – Best Volunteer Group

• Virsa Punjab Da – Fun Fest Booth Award
• Tim Baker – Board Member of the Year, a brand new award category this year

We also celebrated Torrie, Jack, Ryan, and Michelle for five years of service to SERVE Village. Five years of showing up, again and again, for our Neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who makes SERVE what it is. We couldn't do this work without you.

SERVE Village Newsletter: September 2026 Edition

Hello First name,

Fifteen years ago, SERVE Week started with a couple hundred volunteers serving on a couple of dozen projects. This June, over 680 volunteers completed 78 projects across Hamilton County. I've watched this grow year over year, and I still find myself amazed every June by what this community chooses to do for each other. Thank you for being part of it.

Enjoy our Community Highlight in SERVE Village's July 2026 Neighbors & News. This month's Community Highlight features Travis Kauffman. Travis is the coach for the Hamilton Heights Lady's Huskies Soccer Team. He has led his team in serving for over a decade during SERVE Week instilling a sense of pride and collaboration beyond the pitch.

Program Highlight: When the River Rose, Neighbors Rose Higher

This month, we were supposed to be telling you about The GREAT Village Campout, our brand-new 24-hour celebration of Neighbors and nature planned for Teter Retreat & Organic Farm. On August 14, Hamilton County was hit by a 1-in-100-year flood event, and in the weeks since, SERVE Village made the call to cancel the Campout so our full capacity could go toward recovery. What happened in its place is a story worth telling, maybe more than the one we'd planned...

"This day, this experience with these people, will stay with me forever." - Volunteer Team Leader, Gary.
