Pinoy Sama-Summer 2026

PAMANA is excited to unveil our summer programming this year.

Presenting: Pinoy Sama-Summer 2026.

We are proud to receive generous support from the Dane County Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission for this series of Filipino-focused community events happening from June to August.

Pinoy Sama-Summer 2026 comprises the following three community events—all free for the public:

Make Filipino Music Madison

June 21, Sunday, 1-9 p.m.

Garner Park

333 S Rosa Rd, Madison

PAMANA is hosting this event as part of the city-wide annual festivities called Make Music Madison. This serves as our summer kick-off, as well as our celebration of Philippine Independence Day.

Make Filipino Music Madison mainly features local Filipino talents but is open to everyone. If you are a musician interested to perform, click the button below to register. Or email us at pamana.madison@gmail.com if you have questions.

Filipino Summer Day Camp

July 18 and 25, August 1, 8 and 15, Saturdays, 2-5 p.m.

Wil-Mar Neighborbood Center

504 S Brearly St, Madison

For five consecutive Saturday afternoons, the Filipino Summer Day Camp welcomes kids between 7 to 18 years old.

The camp features two parallel sessions for younger and older kids. Campers will learn basic Tagalog language, while being introduced to Filipino music, regional cuisine, Filipino customs and values, hands-on art projects, popular literature and folklore, and traditional Filipino games and pastimes.

Lesson plans have been developed by Filipino American education experts and licensed professionals, who will also act as camp counselors.

Registration is now open. If you plan to register more than one Camper, you will need to fill up the form separately for each attendee.

PAMANA Summer Picnic

August 22, Saturday

Moving to a new venue (to be announced later)

One of our most-attended annual activities, the PAMANA Summer Picnic gathers our community in a potluck setting to celebrate Filipino culture through traditional dances, music, and games. This event also serves as the recognition activity for our summer campers and the culmination of Pinoy Sama-Summer 2026.

Registration details will be shared as the date approaches.
