Momentum Update

The People’s Hob Nob & Straw Poll Is Growing

Pine Hills & Greater Orlando’s premier civic engagement experience continues to advance.

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

Since our first Hob Nob announcement several months ago, the momentum has continued to grow. Candidates, sponsors, community partners, vendors, media partners, and residents are helping us build an event centered on civic access, voter education, and meaningful community engagement.

The 2026 People’s Hob Nob & Straw Poll is more than an event. It is a community-centered opportunity for residents to meet candidates, learn about key races, connect with local organizations, and participate in one of the most important civic engagement experiences in Central Florida.

Community Connections

Meet Our 20 Vendor Organizations

The People's Hob Nob & Straw Poll is about more than meeting candidates. It is also an opportunity to connect directly with the organizations, businesses, and community partners working every day to strengthen Pine Hills and Greater Orlando.

2026 People's Hob Nob Vendor Organizations

In addition to our growing list of candidates representing local, state, and federal offices, we are excited to welcome more than 20 vendor organizations and community partners who will be present throughout the evening.

From community resources and educational opportunities to health, nonprofit, and business services, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with organizations making a real difference in our community.

Take the opportunity to tap in with them on July 8!
