Sharon,
Just moments after we emailed you yesterday, we got the news that the Liberals posted a notice to limit debate on C-9 in both the Justice Committee and on the floor of the House of Commons.
What does this mean? It means our window to be heard has now significantly narrowed; the bill could go to final vote in the House of Commons next week.
Translation: phone calls remain critical.
(Click here to watch the video I did late last night to unpack it.)
Currently, our network has made 59,435. Strategists tell us that if we can get that to 100,000, the Liberals may halt. If only 888 people made 15 calls a day for the next 3 days, we would hit this.
I have called an emergency meeting with several other action groups tomorrow morning to see if I can get them to join with us -- every person and every network matters right now.
Please do what you can to make as many calls as you can and share this with your spheres of influence, however you can.
Click here to get the call lists and new scripts in light of the developments.
If not now, then when?
