Barcelona tonight and tomorrow, Naples on Monday Travel with Open Space Arts this Pride weekend — first to Barcelona for a sharp, funny, and unexpectedly tender romantic comedy, then to Naples for a bold queer film journey through memory, performance, and trans history. Tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 pm: SMILEY Featuring Seth Kobs as Álex and Ayden Lopez as Bruno. The show runs about 85 minutes with no intermission. Seating is limited, and there is no late seating. Please note: there is no Sunday performance. Then on Monday at 7 pm: BALLATA FEMMENELLA Tickets are available for tonight, tomorrow, and Monday. In our intimate 25-seat Uptown storefront, we create theater, film festival programs, and community events that educate, entertain, build connection, and center LGBTQ+ stories that too often go unseen. This weekend’s journey from Barcelona to Naples is part of a much larger year of work. We continue to present live theater at 1411 W Wilson Ave, offer monthly cooperative film screenings with FACETS in Lincoln Park, and share award-winning streaming film programs with audiences in Chicago and beyond. We are deeply grateful to the many people who have already donated to support Open Space Arts. Your generosity helps keep our doors open and these stories moving forward. If you have not yet had a chance to give, we would be grateful for your support as we work to complete this campaign by the end of our fiscal year on June 30. A gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, or whatever you can give helps make sure LGBTQ+ stories continue to be seen, heard, and celebrated in Chicago and beyond.
