TIP OF THE MONTH
Start a simple “swap habit”

In February, lower your energy use by sealing drafts, using natural sunlight during the day, and setting your thermostat a few degrees lower to save energy and reduce emissions.

February Highlights

February Clean Up and Green Ambassador Workshop

One Earth One Chance Green Ambassador Workshop #9 on Forests and Wildlife was a success, featuring engaging talks on forests as carbon sinks and the importance of restoration. Thank you to Rick Travis and Shohn Rodgers for leading an insightful session, with the Pinecreek budget crisis case sparking great audience discussion.

OEOC at Love the Earth Event at UTD

OEOC participated in this year’s Love the Earth event hosted by the Student Government Green Initiative at University of Texas at Dallas on February 11. Our team engaged students in conversations about sustainability and encouraged meaningful environmental action. Attendees also contributed to a campus-wide eco-friendly art piece and enjoyed fresh flowers and fair-trade chocolates.

OEOC at USICOC 10th Annual Women's Conference

OEOC was honored to partner with the US India Chamber of Commerce DFW at their 10th Women’s Conference. The event brought together community members for meaningful networking, inspiring success stories, and a celebration of the powerful impact of women in our communities. We enjoyed connecting with attendees at our booth and sharing more about how we are working to restore a clean, green, and sustainable planet.
