Grow Together in Arlington

Volunteers joined One Earth One Chance, the City of Arlington, and FIFA World Cup 26™ Dallas Organizing Committee on March 27 to plant 18 trees at Dr. Robert Cluck Linear Park, helping create a greener, healthier community.

One Earth One Chance joined panels at this student-driven Sustainability and Circular Economy Conference, exploring real-world sustainable business solutions. Highlights included expert panels, student research, startup pitches, Q&A sessions, and networking with professionals in the field.

Join Us to this April, as One Earth One Chance, in partnership with the City of Dallas and Texas Trees Foundation, will plant 50 trees at Frankford Park—and we need your help! Help us replace the aging canopy and enjoy the many benefits of trees: cooler homes, cleaner air, reduced flooding, higher property values, and better health. This is part of the Green Ambassador Certificate community education series presented by industry experts and focused on real-world solutions, that began in June 2025.

Green Citizen Speaker Series: Sustainable Diets

OEOC’s instructor Karen Chambers will present at the East MK Learning Garden on the environmental and health benefits of plant-based, organic, and locally sourced foods. Part of the One Earth One Chance Green Citizen Speaker Series, this session is a great opportunity to explore sustainable choices and spark climate-conscious conversations.

DFW Youth Climate Conference and Entrepreneurship Competition

One Earth One Chance and UT Dallas are hosting this in-person event on April 18, 2026, at UTD JSOM, giving high school and college students a unique chance to explore climate change and its impact on the DFW region.
The morning features five panels on climate drivers, mitigation, adaptation, careers, and research. The afternoon includes a team competition to win seed funding for climate action projects.

Habitat Restoration at Monarch View Park

On April 18, 2026, 9 AM–12 PM, One Earth One Chance partners with Blackland Prairie Master Naturalists, Frisco High, and Centennial High to plant native perennials and grasses at 1900 Koehn Dr, Frisco, TX. Help restore pollinator habitats, remove invasive species, and support urban wildlife.
